Anritsu Announces Sale Of World's First TD-SCDMA Protocol Conformance Test System To China Mobile
July 14, 2010
Anritsu Company introduces the ME78070A, the world's first test system to support TD-SCDMA to GSM Inter-RAT Handover protocol conformance tests for wireless devices. Additionally, Anritsu announces that China Mobile has purchased an ME78070A and will use it for acceptance testing of dual-mode TD-SCDMA/GSM wireless devices to be used on their network. Terms of the sale were not announced.
Wireless device manufacturers can use the ME78070A Test System to perform the same TD-SCDMA Inter-RAT Handover tests as China Mobile, assuring that their products will meet China Mobile's Inter-RAT acceptance test requirements. By using the ME78070A, manufacturers can reduce R&D and rework costs, ensure product quality, and shorten time to market.
As part of its acceptance process, China Mobile will ensure the correct Inter-RAT operation of TD-SCDMA/GSM dual-mode mobile terminals using more than 50 3GPP-approved conformance test cases delivered with the ME78070A. China Mobile selected the ME78070A as its test system based on Anritsu's proven track record in delivering market-leading test and measurement solutions to the worldwide global communications industry.
