Anritsu Company ‘E’ Series Handheld Analyzers Enhanced With Coverage Mapping Option

Anritsu Company introduces an on-screen coverage mapping option for its "E" Series Spectrum Master, Site Master and Cell Master handheld analyzers. The option has been developed to help wireless service providers, public safety users, land mobile radio operators and government officials verify system coverage and perform spectrum clearing before installing new radio services.

With the option installed on one of the industry leading analyzers, users can map RSSI and ACPR levels. Intuitive color coding simplifies interpretation. The update rate can be set in seconds or in distance, depending on user preference. Both indoor and outdoor mapping is supported with the option. For indoor mapping, the new option uses a start-walk-stop approach to ensure accuracy when GPS is not valid.

To support the new option Anritsu offers a free Windows map conversion program called "MapMaster." Using MapMaster users can convert the files from many map sources to special image files that contain GPS data. The map can then be uploaded to the analyzer via easy to follow menus. The overall amplitude accuracy, coupled with the GPS update rate, ensures accurate and reliable mapping results.

‘E' Series Sets a New Performance Standard
The Site Master S332E/S362E are full-featured handheld analyzers for installing, provisioning, maintaining, and troubleshooting wireless base station cable and antenna systems. With frequency coverage from 100 kHz to 6 GHz, the analyzers offer typical sweep speed of 1 msec/data point, 4 hours of battery life, dual display capabilities, USB for data transfer, touchscreen keyboards, and much more.

Also covering the 100 kHz to 6 GHz frequency, the MS2712E/MS2713E handheld spectrum analyzers deliver superior interference analysis capabilities and the ability to assess signal quality across a broad range of increasingly complex RF signals. The instruments have dynamic range of >95 dB in 10 Hz RBW, DANL of -152 dBm in 10 Hz RBW, and phase noise of -100 dBc/Hz max @ 10 kHz offset at 1 GHz

The Cell Master MT8212E/MT8213E are handheld multi-function base station analyzers that combine all the tools required to deploy, maintain and troubleshoot wireless base stations into a lightweight, battery-operated package.
