Garwood Laboratories, Inc. World Compliance Division is pleased to announce that it has entered into a cooperative agreement with NMi (Netherlands Meetinstituut) Certin B.V. of the Netherlands. NMi is the legal metrology institute of the Netherlands and is an appointed European Union Notified Body under the Radio & Telecommunications Terminal Equipment Directive 98/13/EC and the Maritime Directive 96/98/EC.

This means that Garwood Laboratories, Inc. can now offer complete approval and testing services for wireless and telecommunication products (ETSI and CTR standards) for the European market in addition to our usual FCC, NEBS/Bellcore and Industry Canada services. We can also offer other services such as wireless frequency research throughout Europe and proper notification to authorities for the reporting of any non-harmonized frequency usage. NMi is also a Competent Body under the EMC Directive 89/336/EEC. This agreement expands Garwood Laboratories, Inc.'s capabilities in our continuing effort to satisfy and meet our customer's needs.

The World Compliance Laboratory is a Division of Garwood Laboratories, Inc. that specializes in worldwide compliance, providing both EMC and Product Safety Testing to meet domestic and international standards. Garwood is NVLAP accredited to the CISPR, FCC & AUSTEL Technical Standards for testing products for EMC compliance, VCCI of Japan, Interference Tech International (UK Competent Body), BCIQ (BSMI), and Industry Canada. EMC testing services include FCC, "CE" Mark, VCCI, C-Tick, and FDA Certifications. Product Safety evaluations provide certification for UL/cUL, CSA/CSA-NRTL, TUV and CE for the low voltage directive.
