Data Acquisition for Demanding Applications
AstroDAQ is the latest innovation in data acquisition from Astro Med, Inc. The purpose of the AstroDAQ System is to monitor and collect real-world signals. In collecting signals, the AstroDAQ system performs five functions.
These functions are accomplished using AstroDAQ hardware and the basic AstroDAQ software package, AstroLINK. AstroLINK runs under Windows 95, WindowsNT or Windows for Workgroups and implements most functions through point-and-click mouse movements.

- Signal Monitoring (or chart recording)
- Data sampling and primary storage
- Data Review
- Final storage of selected samples using industry standard formats
