The Model ATE10K30M is a wideband, high voltage electric (E) Field Generator used to develop high intensity E Fields. Compatible with the technically superior field sensing and leveling equipment provided by AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation, it is recommended for use in susceptibility testing at high field levels. The Model ATE10K30M, unique among E Field Generators because of its advanced design features, is terminated with internal load resistors. These low inductance, high power resistors terminate the RF drive power, resulting in a well matched input VSWR. Other E Field Generators require external loads or operate with a severe mismatch. In addition to being self terminating, the Model ATE10K30M contains a high power broadband transformer to raise the output voltage. This transformer requires no band switching and increases the field generated by approximately 10dB over that which would be developed in a standard 50 ohm terminated parallel plate system. It is small enough to handle easily in shielded rooms while being compatible with the high RF output power available from modern RF amplifiers like the AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation "A" and "L" series.
