The Model DC7440A is a wide-band dual directional coupler intended for use with the 5S4G11 and other amplifiers within the power and frequency range. The wide frequency range assures flexibility in coupling high power amplifiers to power meters, spectrum analyzers, receivers, and other measuring instruments. The dual directional design allows the user to monitor both forward and reflected power, a much needed characteristic in RF susceptibility testing for amplifier overdrive protection, field control, and load protection. Low insertion loss allows efficient coupling to the load.
