The Climatics Department offers a variety of environmental test chambers, ranging in size from bench-top to walk-in size, including chambers with rates of change that exceed 40°C/min. All test chambers are equipped with digital process controllers. Test chamber features include: Over thiry chambers ranging from 1-2,000 cubic ft.
Thermal shock capabilities from -125-250°C
Salt fog and humidity exposure requirements including S02
Thermal cycling temperature transition rates up to 40°C /min.
Explosive atmosphere up to 80,000 ft.
Temperature altitude up to 100,000 ft. and down to -250 ft.
Explosive decompression from 8,000 ft to 50,000 ft. in less than five milliseconds
Capable of performing rain (with wind), splash, and drip-proof testing
All test chambers have microprocessor controllers and product savers
Capable of recording more than 80 channels of data.
All data recorded on dataloggers and chart recorders
Solar radiation exposure capabilities.
