Extended data rates of up to 20 Mbit/s are provided by the DATaRec model D20d/D20i. The DATaRec model D20 series requires the same space as the DATaRec model D12 (3 MCU) and is available with either DLT (D20d) or AIT (D20i) tape drive options. Fully integrated signal conditioning modules provide configuration flexibility and a cost-effective multi-mission solution.

With flight certification underway, the model D20ix incorporates an integrated shock mount design, which isolates the AIT tape drive against vibration. Unique, all axis shock mounts isolate the recorder and comply with MIL-STD 810 E guaranteeing full operation in extreme shock environments.
