Connecting measurement devices to quality inspection workstations is often a non-trivial task. The ASI MicroPort is a general purpose, microprocessor controlled interface equipment that provides connectivity to digital data collection equipment.

In addition to accepting input from a wide variety of gages and sensors, the MicroPort includes TTL outputs for triggering alarm lights or other external devices. All ports are software controlled and have no jumpers or DIP switches to set. The digital gaging ports may be individually configured to accept input from different gages via a gage send button or foot switch.

The MicroPort is a low cost yet powerful alternative for users who require interfacing to a limited number of gages but do not want to sacrifice performance.

  • The MicroPort is a standalone device that features four (4) digital or BCD input ports in a factory hardened shell.
  • Up to eight (8) MicroPorts can be daisy-chained together, allowing for data collection from up to 32 devices simultaneously.
