The 1260-84A, and B, and the -88A, and B, VXIbus Optical Switch modules provide high repeatability that make it suited for SONET testing, fiber optic component test, and fiber network monitoring of single or dual switching
The 1260-84A, and B, and the -88A, and B, VXIbus Optical Switch modules provide high repeatability that make it suited for SONET testing, fiber optic component test, and fiber network monitoring of single or dual switching. The modules are: 1260-84B - Single Slot 1 x 4; 1260-84B - Dual Slot 1 x 4; 1260-88A - Single Slot 1 x 8; and 1260-88B - Dual Slot 1 x 8.
They are available in single or dual, 1 x 4 or 1 x 8 optical switching. The modules are available for simplex and duplex switching. Type FC fiber optic connectors are standard, that are front panel mounted and have dust caps. It supports message-based and register-based operation.
Single mode, 9/125µm optical fiber with a wavelength range of 1290-1570nm are standard. Optional fiber types, wavelengths, connectors, and switch configurations are available. The modules comply with VXIplug&play Alliance specifications. C-size 2-slot and high density 1-slot modules are available.
