The Space Simulation Department provides customers with ambient pressure and vacuum testing
The Space Simulation Department provides customers with ambient pressure and vacuum testing. Testing features include: Contamination-free turbomolecular pump and cryopump technology
Vacuum facilities include Bell Jar to an eight-ft.-diam. Space Simulator
Orbital (Cycling) and/or bakeout thermal simulation
Test units ranging from "clean sensitive" small components such as solar cells to large flight articles such as solar panels, optics and reflectors
ESD protection; pressure and independent thermal alarms; redundant LN2 solenoid valves and pressure instrumentation; fail-close pump valves
Residual Gas Analyzer (RGA), Temperature-Controlled Quartz Crystal Microbalance (TQCM) and Cold Finger/Plates
Round the clock monitoring by experienced, trained and professional staff
Class 100 Cleanroom capable
