The 1264B is a six-slot C-size VXIbus compatible chassis designed for applications such as portable or calibration systems or as an overflow for a 13-slot system. It features a multi-layer, solid state, jumperless backplane, and two ground planes. The ground planes are designed for use by the +4 V and –5.2 V power supplies which creates low voltage gradients across the backplane. All TTL and ECL signals use stripline technology minimizing crosstalk and maintaining controlled impedances. The chassis provides 450 W of usable power and 55 W of cooling per slot.
