About Us

Mission
To be a leader in the laser-based imaging equipment sector by developing highly differentiated technologies for the detection of anomalies, both for medical and industrial applications, constantly promoting new ideas that will help extend the quality of life and autonomy of individuals.

Vision
With globalization as the backdrop for the next quarter Century , ART Advanced Research Technology Inc. (ART) has identified several scientific and technological challenges that will shape the near future: First among these is the world-wide increase in demand for healthcare and second, increasing industrial competition among major manufacturers and users of electronic components world-wide.

In effect, during the next century, not only will the number of health-care services users grow world-wide, but increased life-expectancy will soon create additional needs among the aging populations of industrialized societies including, among other things, for the detection of tumors such as those that cause breast cancer.

In the industrial sector, factors such as stiff international competition and the explosive growth in the use and the number of electronic components contained in industrial products have accelerated the introduction of powerful technologies that detect defects and manufacturing flaws in printed circuit cards.

Our vision to contribute to the process of laser-based imaging technologies that will enhance the well being of individuals and further human activity..

History
Founded in 1993, ART is a high-tech North American company located in St-Laurent, in the heart of Montreal. Specializing in laser and thermal imaging technologies for the detection of medical and industrial anomalies, the company has rapidly developed new applications of technologies that, only a few years ago, were used exclusively for military purposes.

ART owes its growing reputation to a team of accomplished scientists, engineers and administrators and to partnerships with prestigious research organizations such as l'Institut national d'optique (INO) in Canada and the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) in the United States.
