Ztec Inc.T002PXI is an RF signal analyzer that combines the functions of a frequency counter, time-interval analyzer, and peak-power meter in a single-wide, 3U PXI/Compact PCI card. The analyzer processes a continuous or pulsed RF input signal with a frequency ranging from 100 MHz to 3 GHz. The RF input is processed in time-capture circuitry that measures the pulse width and pulse repetition interval (PRI), a high-speed counter that measures the RF frequency, and a calibrated envelope detector that measures the peak power.

The time interval analysis applies to pulse-modulated RF input signals. An on-board digital signal processor (DSP) performs the measurements of pulse-width, PRI, frequency, and peak power in less than 100 microseconds. On-board memory allows the acquisition and analysis of multiple subsequent RF pulses without any lost RF pulse data.
