Agilent Rolls Out Mixed-Signal Oscilloscopes

gf

Six new MSO (mixed-signal oscilloscope) models with bandwidths ranging from 13 GHz to 33 GHz, as well as a 13-GHz DSO (digital signal oscilloscope) and 13-GHz DSA (signal analyzer) model, join Agilent’s Infiniium 90000 X-Series.

Customers who purchase DSO and DSA models can upgrade to MSO functionality to obtain the additional trigger flexibility of these scopes for debugging and validating their devices.

The tightly integrated channels of the new MSO models can function at 20 Gsamples/s in an 8-channel configuration, 60% faster than other high-performance MSOs, according to the manufacturer, or at 10 Gsamples/s in a 16-channel configuration. With these new additions, Agilent’s line of MSOs now covers analog bandwidths ranging from 70 MHz to 33 GHz.

Infiniium 90000 X-Series MSOs have up to 400 million points of data capture behind each digital channel. To accommodate sample-rate differences between the high-speed analog channels and the digital MSO channels, this memory depth can be automatically sized with the analog trace length, including the full 2-Gpts memory available on Agilent oscilloscopes.
