Airspan Completes WiMAX Testing With Invenova

Boca Raton, FL -- Airspan Networks, Inc. and Invenova Corporation announced that they have completed testing between Airspan's AS.MAX WIMAX CPEs and Base Stations and Invenova's Astro8140 by running test scripts that will be used by Cetecom for WiMAX Conformance Testing.

Invenova's Astro8140 WiMAX Protocol Test and Measurement products have been used throughout the product validation phase to enable Airspan's AS.MAX family to validate the conformance of the products' MAC and PHY layers to the IEEE 802.16-2004 standard and WiMAX System Profile. The Astro8140 product line was developed specifically for protocol and conformance testing of WiMAX-based products. Early availability of protocol conformance test suites is instrumental to the rapid implementation and successful adoption of any new standard.
