Anam Semiconductor Chooses Avant!'s Optical Solution

Avant! Corporation announced that Anam Semiconductor Co. in Korea will use Taurus-OPC Avant!'s Optical Proximity Correction (OPC) Solution -- in the development of its 0.18 µm technology. OPC is a critical technology for very deep submicron (VDSM) design.

Computer-Automated Semiconductor Tooling (CAST) Avant!'s TCAD-ECAD integration helps control the quality level in wafer manufacturing. The CAST framework combines Taurus technology-CAD (TCAD) simulators, the Taurus-OPC system and the Hercules design rule checking (DRC) system. This solution bridges the gap between design and manufacturing processes. It improves design productivity, enhances quality, and ensures the accuracy required for VDSM design success.
