Anritsu Introduces CDMA Software for Spectrum Analyzers

Anritsu Company%=company%> has introduced a software package that lets the MS2650/MS2660 spectrum analyzers perform CDMA mobile and base station tests. The MX260002 software can be downloaded to any MS2650/MS2660 spectrum analyzer. It incorporates a simple-to-follow menu and sets up measurement softkeys when executed.

Using this software tool, engineers can measure a CDMA signal's RF parameters to IS-97 and IS-98 specified limits. Measurements that can be performed include channel power, adjacent channel power, occupied bandwidth, in-band and out-of-band transmit spurious, receive spurious, gated power, and time response of open loop power control. Limit lines are included for pass/fail testing.

The new software package provides all North American cellular band channel numbers. Frequency can be specified by the user.

The MX260002A software is priced at $1,100. Spectrum analyzer prices range from $11,500 to $25,000.
