Anritsu selects Noise Com's NC346 Series Broadband Calibrated Noise Source

Anritsu Company's Microwave Measurement Division (Paramus, NJ) announced today it has selected Noise Com's NC346 Series Broadband Calibrated Noise Source for the new Anritsu MS462X Scorpion Vector Network Measurement System.

The Anritsu MS462X Scorpion Vector Network Measurement System is the first such instrument with the ability to make error-corrected noise figure measurements on active devices used in wireless communications. Four basic models are available in the MS462X family. Models MS4622A and MS4623A are equipped with non-reversing transmission/reflection test sets with frequency ranges of 10 MHz to three GHz and 10 MHz to six GHz, respectively. Models MS4622B and MS4623B incorporate reversing test sets for automatic forward and reverse S-parameter measurements from 10 MHz to three GHz and 10 MHz and six GHz, respectively.

The Noise Com NC346 Series is designed for precision noise figure measurement applications. With its broadband coverage, temperature and voltage stability, and rugged design, the NC346 Series is becoming a leading noise figure meter-compatible laboratory standard. Outputs of 6, 15.5 and 22 dB ENR are available enabling the units to accurately measure noise figures up to 20, 30 and 36 dB respectively. The NC346 Coaxial Series is available in models of maximum frequency ranges of 26.5, 40 and 60 GHz. The NC346 Waveguide Series is also available in models with frequency ranges from 3.7 up to 13.0 GHz.
