Basler-MVC introduces three new cameras at vision shows
Basler Vision Technologies - Machine Vision Components (Basler-MVC) will introduce three new cameras at the Vision Show West and the Vision Show Stuttgart. They include:
- The BASLER L100b Series: This new series has improved upon one of Basler-MVC's most successful line scan cameras, the L100 series. The L100b Series features an improved software configuration tool, 12V power requirement, Camera Link technology, and, most importantly, high response for lower light applications. The L100b Series will include 1k and 2k pixels and will range from 20MHz to 60MHz (L101b, L102b, L103b, and L104b). The L100b cameras are ideal for lower light applications such as document processing. Camera will be available Q4-2000
- The BASLER A300 Series: The A300 Series expands Basler-MVC's product line into the lower resolution marketplace (640 x 480 & 780 x 580). The A300 Series will be available in Camera Link and IEEE1394 bus output and includes the A301b, A302b, A301f, and A302f. The "b" or Camera Link version of the A300 Series features extremely high frame rates, over 50fps, robust software configuration tool, 12V power requirements, and high response for lower light applications. The "f" or IEEE1394 version of the A300 will deliver over 30fps and take advantage of the newest IEEE1394 benefits. The A301f will deliver up to 75fps and the A302f will deliver up to 30fps. The A300 Series cameras are ideal for robotic vision, semiconductor inspection, and other applications where megapixel resolution is not required but the need for a digital image is critical. The A302f will be available Q4-2000 and the rest of the series will follow in Q1-2001.
- The BASLER A101f: The A101 cameras, Basler-MVC's best selling area scan cameras, are being re-introduced to the market with an IEEE1394 bus output. The new camera, the BASLER A101f, will output up to 12fps at 1300 x 1030 - the highest full resolution megapixel IEEE1394 camera available. The A101f cameras provide a low noise image with improved response for lower light applications and we see them working in conjunction with the A300f cameras. Cameras will be available Q4-2000.
Basler Vision Technologies-Machine Vision Components designs and manufactures vision components for the industrial vision industry. Products include color and monochrome line scan and area scan digital cameras for high speed and/or high-resolution applications. Product designs are driven by industry requirements offering easy interfacing, compact sizes, and a strong price/performance ratio.
