Cablescan Continuity Test Software

Cablescan recently introduced TestRite software to enable remote control of the smaller Cablescan testers including the Model 64, Model 64x2, Model 128/PC, Model 512, and Model 4000C. TestRite is Windows 95/NT application comprised of TestRite editor and TestPanel.

TestRite editor is for creating, editing, and testing wire list programs. Without a tester connected, wire lists and cross-reference lists can be created by keyboard. With a tester connected, a program can be learned from a harness by first selecing a learn command from the tool bar. The wire list can be saved or a cross-reference can be assigned before saving.

TestPanel displays a simulated tester fron panel on the PC monitor for used during production test. Test programs are selected through a standard Windows frame and loaded into the tester. Test results are displayed in the simulated tester display window.

Cablescan testers can be networked with remote PCs and the TestRite software. The software is available for $295.
