Cascade Microtech's Nucleus 2.1 Prober Control Software analyzes RF/microwave data in real time for reliable wafer test results

Cascade Microtech announces the release of its new Nucleus 2.1 Prober Control Software. Nuclues 2.1 monitors and analyzes RF/microwave data collection in real time, ensuring you have the most reliable data in a quick, easy-to-configure format. This is done through an intuitive graphical user interface (GUI) composed of a wafer map and histogram statistics. Nucleus 2.1 runs on all Cascade's semi-automatic probe stations, including the new S300 wafer probing system. It also supports enhanced features for use with all of our existing RF motorized positioners to ensure a fast, accurate setup.

With its multi-user log-in feature, more than one user can operate the software while still providing security in the lab. Nucleus 2.1 Prober Contol also gives you complete graphical sub-site control through an easy-to-use editor to maximize test accuracy.

The software, which is compatible with the ultra-stable Windows NT TM /2000 operating systems, also allows you to control and monitor thermal chuck temperature. The stable and flexible Nucleus 2.1 GUI enables easy integration of IC-CAP probe plans with remote GPIB.
