CDMA Base Station Test Set

Hewlett-Packard Co.'s (HP's) HP 8935A CDMA base station test evaluates the performance of cellular and PCS infrastructure. This instrument offers coverage from to 1 GHz in cellular systems and to 1.7 to 2 GHz in PCS systems. It performs signal-quality, code-domain, average-power, channel-power, error-vector-magnitude, and additive-white Gaussian noise (AWGN) measurements. To promote portability, the instrument is housed in a suitcase-sized package and is equipped with a water-resistant membrane keypad along with a gasketed display monitor seal that allows measurements to be read during the day or at night.
