CEC Releases TestPoint 5.1 Test And Measurement Software

Bedford, NH -- Capital Equipment (CEC) announced the release of TestPoint version 5.1, bringing improvements and fixes to the easy-to-use test and measurement development software.

New Features

  • TestPoint has been upgraded to support new hardware functions on Keithley A/D boards.
  • Support for National Instruments USB modules and NIDAQ version 7.0. Fixed analog triggering for both 12 and 16-bit boards.
  • For those applications with your new laptop with no parallel port, TestPoint is now available with a USB security key
  • Added new drivers for DataForth isoLynx data acquisition system.
  • TestPoint now supports New ActiveX user-interface controls. A complete copy of CEC's new TechComponents ActiveX control package is bundled with every copy of TestPoint. These ActiveX controls include knobs, gauges, sliders, switches, and other objects, with true-color 3D-modeled look and feel. The TechComponents GlobalStyle feature lets the user change the look of an entire panel with a single setting.
  • Microsoft Office interface objects for Word and Excel provide easy data interchange and control over printing and saving documents, for easy report generation.

TestPoint continues to be enhanced as a development software package and work is in progress for the next major release.

Pricing, Availability, and Support
TestPoint Professional development system is available from stock for $995, and upgrades for current users are only $249. If you have version 5.0 the upgrade to version 5.1 is free. Capital Equipment provides complete technical support for all its products at no additional cost to the end user.
