Co-Channel Interference Detection

Co-Channel Interference Detection
Non-intrusive co-channel interference detection is available for the E7475A GSM-based drive test system
N/Ave co-channel interference detection is available for the E7475A GSM-based drive test system. Co-channel interference occurs when two base stations with overlapping coverage areas broadcast on the same frequency. The resulting interference can cause dropped calls or other transmission problems. Algorithms in the test system's receiver detect co-channel interference and decode the base station identity code of the primary and secondary interfering signals. Network operators can locate the sources of co-channel interference without turning off base stations, which creates holes in coverage.
