Compact Telecom Line Tester For Line Maintenance And Construction

Toronto, Canada – GAO Comm is offering its compact telecom line tester used for line maintenance and construction. It features a compact size, low voltage warning, auto power off and energy-saving design.

This compact telecom line tester, model A0080003, incorporates the functions of a telephone set, a circuit performance tester and a security tester, which makes it a comprehensive device for detecting line errors. It performs last number dialed and caller ID display, twisted pair as well as multi-line test testing. It has an insulation test range of 0 to 40 MO at a maximum distance of 2 km. The compact telecom line tester is compatible with FSK and DTMF meeting the GB/T 15279-94 standard.

Equipped with a large high resolution LCD screen, line voltage and insulation test results are displayed clearly. This telecom line tester is also configured with a chargeable 9 V Ni-MH battery.

This compact telecom line tester belongs to GAO's family of Telecom Line Testers. This line also includes communication cable fault tester which integrates the functions of an OTDR, ohmmeter, megohmmeter and automatic bridge and is widely used by technicians to accurately locate faults in the field, for acceptance and maintenance of lines, inspection of cable electrical characteristics and detection of faults such as breakage, misconnection, water absorption, and poor insulation. Another product in this line is small size cable fault locator which uses TDR technology and performs fault distance location, pulse testing, cable line fault testing, wave shape comparison and data record testing.
