Concurrent And National Instruments Join Forces To Deliver Real-Time Linux-Based Plug-And-Play Test And Data Acquisition Solutions
ATLANTA --(Business Wire)-- Aug. 17, 2004 -- Concurrent to Package National Instruments Products With Its iHawk(TM) Linux Platforms
Concurrent Computer Corporation (NASDAQ: CCUR), Integrated Solutions Division, today announced an agreement with National Instruments (NI) that makes Concurrent an NI Alliance Partner and value-added reseller of the complete line of NI software and hardware products, including LabVIEW and the extensive selection of NI measurement and automation products. Concurrent will offer the NI products on its Intel(R) Xeon(R) and AMD Opteron(TM)-based iHawk(TM) systems powered by the RedHawk(TM) Linux(TM) real-time operating system. NI products on Concurrent's iHawk will be presented at NIWeek this week in Austin, Texas (Concurrent Booth #225).
Concurrent's high-performance integrated computing solutions (http://www.ccur.com/isd) offer an excellent real-time Linux environment for NI LabVIEW in hardware-in-the-loop, man-in-the-loop and data acquisition applications. RedHawk Linux determinism and shielded processor technology bring strong added value by allowing LabVIEW to execute without interruption. Linux community customers can reduce overall integration costs by using NI rapid application development software tools versus traditional manual methods of code generation as well as a wide range of NI measurement and automation products.
