Credence Announces Milestone Shipment of 400th SC Series Test System to King Yuan Electronics
Credence's SC Series was initially introduced in 1992 and consists currently of the SC 312 and SC Micro. The platform provides a solution for production testing of microperipheral, application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC), and programmable logic devices (PLD). The SC Series is designed specifically for high-volume, cost-sensitive manufacturing operations.
King Yuan has emerged as one of the leading test subcontractors in Taiwan and has averaged 100% annual revenue growth over the last several years. King Yuan uses the large installed base of SC Series testers at its Hsin-Chu, Taiwan facility for testing a variety of ASIC and microperipheral devices.
The SC 312 achieves a 100 MHz test without requiring pin multiplexing. With an optional Analog Pin Electronics card, the SC 312 also supports testing of embedded analog functions. The SC's Agile graphical software environment supports seamless multi-site testing and debugging.
SC Micro provides custom test solutions for microcode analysis, analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters, and the high voltage requirements commonly required for on-chip functions such as memory programming and enabling of test modes. This system is designed specifically to address the challenges unique to micro and embedded controller testing.
