Data Generator /Analyzer

Hewlett-Packard (HP) has released a data generator/analyzer platform that helps engineers characterize and verify digital devices. The HP 81200 addresses speeds up to 200 Mb/s, 330 Mb/s, and 660 Mb/s. This instrument's analyzer capabilities can functionally and parametrically test digital devices such as ICs, application-specific ICs (ASICs), and circuit boards.. Errors can be then be displayed. This test instrument provides an intuitive graphical user interface (GUI) based on the Windows NT platform. Vectors can be loaded through HP's interface bus of from ASCII files transferred to the built-in hard disk.
