DHI's New E-DWT-H Electronic Deadweight Tester Combines Pressure Generation, Control And Digital Measurement In A Portable, Rugged And Lightweight Package

Phoenix, AZ - DH Instruments, a Fluke Company, recently announced the E-DWT-H electronic deadweight tester, a modern alternative to the conventional deadweight tester. E-DWT-H is designed to provide an easier-to-use deadweight tester alternative that is at home in the lab or instrument shop, as well as in the field performing in-situ calibrations and tests.

The E-DWT-H's electronic reference pressure monitor can be configured with one or two internal ranges from 7 MPa (1,000 psi) to 200 MPa (30,000 psi). With two internal ranges, the E-DWT-H provides uncertainty of +/- 0.02 percent of reading from 1 to 100 percent of full scale range.

The E-DWT-H includes exclusive, individually characterized, quartz reference pressure transducer (Q-RPT) modules for increased precision and reduced measurement uncertainty. The AutoRange(TM) feature optimizes measurement, control and safety features for the specific range of the test being run with a few simple entries. Its ready indication provides straightforward feedback that allows for consistent results during each test.

E-DWT-H features eliminate the need for weights and the associated handling chore, possible errors and shipping costs. With E-DWT-H there is no need to measure ambient conditions and piston temperature, to know local gravity when trying to accurately measure pressure or to ensure that the unit remains level. Electronic output allows for active pressure display, unlimited pressure resolution, AutoTest calibration routines, real-time automated data collection and customized report generation. Simple and free embedded software upgrades are available from DHI.

The E-DWT-H is designed for lab, shop or field use. All features expected in high-end calibration equipment are included in this rugged and portable calibrator. Available batteries make remote use possible. An optional rugged, wheeled case allows quick setup and makes transport easy and worry free.
