The DL400 is a miniature standalone eight-input digital event logger with a memory capacity of up to 30,000 16-bit measurements with a built-in two-year lithium battery. The unit has a built-in Y2K clock and eight 16-bit pulse-counting inputs which can be configured as seven pulse inputs with one trigger channel. The digital input signal can be a contact closure or a state change of up to 24 V. Minimum pulse width for counting is 10mS and the maximum frequency is 50 Hz. The unit has a battery-backed memory capacity of up to 64 kB.
Its datalogging parameters are configured and the results are displayed by connecting the eight-oz, three-in. polycarbonate cube to a PC's serial port and using the company's uLogDLE software. Useful for applications such as event counting, traffic statistics, power monitoring, maintenance, time use of motors, processor medical applications, the recorder can operate from 20°C to +65°C. Optional 4-20mA cables allow current measurements to be made.
