Comten Industries Force Test System, DFM-5000, is available in capacities from 10 to 5000 pounds (44.5 - 22,250 Newtons) and is available with a variety of standard and custom fixtures. With hand operated, fixed and variable speed motorized test stands it is ideal for a wide range of testing applications. It can also be used as a standalone unit to measure force in remote and specialized testing situations and perform tests on plastics, metals, textiles, food, bottles, packaging, ceramics, wire, assemblies and other materials. A two line LCD displays continuous and peak force in pounds, kilograms, Newtons, ounces, or grams. Standard RS-232 output allows raw data or peak force output to a computer or to an optional mini report printer. Other features include user selectable sampling rates, time/date stamp, and data storage. Calibration is traceable to NIST and accurate to 0.1 % of full scale.
