Digital Test System

The RFA300 is a television test system dedicated to measuring eight-level vestigial sideband (8-VSB) digital television (DTV) signals. It monitors the critical broadcast parameters required to transmit DTV signals. The system delivers instant visualization of the transmitter's signals to broadcasters.

The system monitors transmissions in accordance with the ATSC Digital Television Standard. It is a measurement set for transmitter installation, operation, and maintenance. It also provides a standard RS 232/485 serial communication card and Ethernet interface, supporting 10/100 Base-T, and allows users to dial in via a laptop and view measurements. The instrument provides instant notification of signal abnormalities by incorporating email with paging capabilities.
