Pomona Electronicson Electronic Probe is designed for probing extremely fine pitch IC leads including TSSOP and SSOP packages. Ergonomically designed to fit the hand, the new probe offers a subminiature tip of only .018-in. diameter. The Model 6342 probe provides accuracy and accessibility for testing difficult-to-reach areas of surface mount and densely populated circuit boards in repair and test lab applications. Although small in outline, the slim design enables a firm grip and access into tight spots without obstructing visual contact within the test point area. The probe's thermoplastic elastomer outer layer provides a comfortable and secure grip, and the probe tip can be replaced if damaged. Many different probe tips are available for nearly any probing situation.
