ESD Association Launches New Web Site

The ESD Association has launched a new and completely redesigned web site devoted to information about electrostatic discharge (ESD), static electricity, and the activities and programs of the Association.

The ESD Association is an international not-for-profit educational and scientific organization with over 2,200 members, dedicated to advancing the theory and practice of electrostatic charge and discharge avoidance.

The site focuses on Association activities, such as educational programs, standards, the EOS/ESD Symposium, technical information, and Association and industry news. The site also contains links to other resources on ESD, information on professional ESDC certification, a calendar of ESD events, and a catalog of Association standards and publications.

Site visitors can download copies of the Association's new ANSI/ESD 20.20 ESD Control Program Standard, tutorial and symposia programs and registration forms, and publications catalogs. They can view the Association's meeting schedules and read updates on the organization's standards activities.

A new "members only" section will come on line in the near future, featuring access to the Association's newsletter Threshold, downloads of Technical Reports, subscriptions to special interest mailing lists, and a membership directory. The section will be password protected.
