The AMS-980 is a functional test system composed of an Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) platform. The platform consists of a modular hardware and software platform that allows easy upgrades and reconfigurations as test requirements change. The ATX-100 AutoTest Manager is the software platform. It is based on accepted industry standards like UNIX, OSF/Motif and the C programming language.
