GAO's Powerful Data Communications Tester

Toronto, Canada - GAO Tek Inc. has released its compact and light-weight data communication tester (GAOCE5009), a multi-purpose tester designed for the creation, maintenance and trouble-shooting of digital networks. It is used to carry out both framed and unframed tests on various equipment such as primary multiplexers, digital cross connects, automatic protection switches and circuits operating at speed between 50bit/s and 2048kbit/s. This optimized Data communications tester integrates four data interfaces and G.703 Co-dir 64kbit/s and G.703-2Mkbit/s interfaces while provides an error analysis function featuring display of histograms for error or alarm. In addition, accommodations for future interfaces have also been considered and the measurement results can be stored.

GAO's Data Communications Tester (GAOCE5009) provides the following features:

• Transmits synchronously and asynchronously on various interface
• Portable, light-weight and compact
• Be used for offline test of primary multiplexers on G.703-2M unframed interface or online test on G703-2M framed
• Generates and monitors PCM30,PCM30 CRC,PCM31 and PCM31 CRC frame structures on G.703-2Mbit/s
