Garwood Labs Opens World Compliance Division

Garwood Laboratories, a testing service provider for 45 years, has opened the doors to its new World Compliance Division in Placentia, CA. The division specializes in worldwide compliance, providing both EMC and Product Safety testing to meet domestic and international standards. Accreditations and approvals include: NVLAP accredited to the CISPR; FCC and AUSTEL Technical Standards for testing products for EMC compliance; VCCI of Japan; Interference Tech International (UK competent body); and Industry Canada.

EMC testing services include FCC, CE Marking, VCCI, C-TICK, and FDA certifications. Product safety evaluations provide certification for UL/CanadianUL/ CSA/CSA-NRTL, TUV, and CE for the low voltage directive.

Garwood engineers provide mitigation (troubleshooting), guidance for prototype development and product/system design, and technical support to companies having difficulty with the certification process. Seminars and consulting services for EMI, EMC, ESD, EMP and EMF are also available.
