High-Speed Data Recorder

The MDAS is a small-size, internal triaxial accelerometer and rechargable battery. High sampling rates and large memory capacity are the key features of the MDAS.

The MDAS features built-in triaxial accelerometer with ranges of 2 to 100 g's. It can record up to 5 external voltage inputs, and has 100,000 samples/s aggregate rate selectable in software. It has a 12 bit A/D converter accuracy rate, and up to 500,000 sample memory. Standard small size and weight is: 1.6" x 4.5" and 355g. Recoder communicates to a PC through an RS-232 link. An internal rechargeable battery runs the unit up to 30 days, depending on battery options. Automatic software driven calibration routine, and self adjusting anti-aliasing filters are also included. Windows-based Visual Interface software makes it easy to create test set-ups, collect data, automate processing, and view plots of collected data.
