Humidity measurement and its control play an important role in everyone's life, including saving energy costs and also to ensure optimum climate conditions in production processes.

This requires a large assortment of different humidity measuring instruments that are available on the market.  They all differ in regard to housing design and in their measuring accuracies and long term stability.

E+E ELEKTRONIK, as one of the leading manufacturers of humidity transmitters is frequently confronted with this problem.   As a result of our extensive know-how in the field of humidity measurement has enabled us to develop a compact and easy to use humidity calibration and data acquisition system of high accuracy.

The measuring method of the portable HUMOR10 is based on a "two-pressure generator", the same operational function as is used by the national Bureau of Standards for very accurate humidity calibrations.  Based on this principle the generator is reliable and traceable to international standards.  By request it is available with an official test-certificate.

Systematic errors are adjustable on the existing serial interface as a calibration function.  This leads to an outstanding accuracy of ± 0.3 % RH in the measuring range between 10 and 85 % RH.  With reduced accuracy it is also possible to use the HUMOR10 up to 95 % RH.

The only equipment required is a mains supply of 230 (110) volts AC and a filtered compressed air line, which should be oil free.  Air conditioned room facilities are not necessary.

The Generator enables the customer to install and calibrate either cylindrical humidity sensor probes each with a maximum diameter up to 16 mm or a cubic measuring unit with maximum dimensions of 80 x 80 x 20 mm.

Only the inlet pressure of the system is required to be adjusted with a rotary control button.  The evaluation of the relative humidity values is carried out by an integrated high performance microprocessor.

The calibration system is equipped with an online display for reading the corresponding measurements.  The stabilization time of the HUMOR10 is less than one minute.

A power supply of 24 VDC is available for the transmitters.
