Intusoft Offers Free Power Supply Handbook and SPICE Model of the Month

Intusoft announced today that they are offering free copies of their Power Specialist's Application Note Book on their website. In addition, Intusoft has initiated a "SPICE Model of the Month" posting on their website.

The book, an information-packed handbook for power supply designers, was edited by Intusoft Vice President of Product Development, Charles Hymowitz. It contains over 35 technical articles on power supply design and power electronics modeling. The book is available for immediate download from the Intusoft website, both in its entirety (in pdf format), or in individual articles. The individual articles also are available in the Adobe Acrobat pdf format, and require an Adobe Acrobat Reader to access them.

Topics covered in the book include: Switched Mode Power Supply Design, Magnetics Design and Modeling, Signal Generators, Modeling For Power Electronics, Motor and Relay Modeling, and Test Program Development and Failure Analysis for SMPS. Example articles include: "Average simulations of FLYBACK converters with SPICE3;" "Designing a 50W Forward Converter Transformer With Magnetics Designer;" "A Spice Model For TRIACs;" "New SPICE Features Aid Motor Simulation;" and "Automating Analog Test Design."

Intusoft's web site also features a new posting of a "SPICE Model Library of the Month". Each month a new SPICE model library will be available for download.
