LAN Analyzer

The HP Internet Advisor LAN - Ethernet/Token-Ring (HP J2523B) features a Windows 95- based user interface that facilitates comprehensive testing of Ethernet networks.

The HP Internet Advisor is a portable, PC-based, full-featured network analyzer that allows users to install, support and maintain local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) networks by providing features and an interface that make troubleshooting any network segment easy.

The instrument offers hardware filtering, and hardware timestamping with 100 ns resolution. It features 10 Mbps data rate and 2 RJ-45 connectors with hub logic allows for testing in switched environments. Token Ring features include 4 or 16 Mbps data rate for Token Ring, and has a DB-9 connector for 4 and 16 Mbps.
