Long Range ADSL Tester Features Multiple Powerful Functions

ADSL

Toronto, Canada - GAO Comm has rolled out its innovative multi-functional ADSL tester which supports ADSL 2+ (G.992.5), ADSL2 (G.992.3) and RE-ADSL (Annex L) and is downwards compatible with ADSL (G.DMT, G.Lite, T1.43) line standards. It is intended for the installation, maintenance and measurement of ADSL/ADSL 2+ networks. This practical tester is especially useful for field testing of upstream or downstream rate measurement, error count, DMM, MODEM simulation, and ping and trace testing.

This multi-functional ADSL tester, model 2045, determines the type of ADSL line being tested, automatically matches the ADSL line standard and then carries out tests with a simple push of the "Auto Test" key. It also tests AC/DC voltage, loop feeding current, round resistance, line resistance, line insulation resistance and can estimate line length. The tester has a maximum transmission distance of 6.5km. Test results can be uploaded, saved and printed through included Test Manager Pro Software. The ADSL tester's embedded software is upgradable via an integrated RS232 interface. It offers a high resolution backlit LCD screen and displays ADSL line connections on a real-time basis.
