Microarray

N/Ach microarray offers improved flexibility and capabilities in environments where low-resistance switching and small space requirements are necessary. It is suited for telecommunications, microinstrumentation and automated test equipment applications. The microarray combines 10 company microrelays in a ceramic package measuring 35 x 20 mm. It can be configured to connect one of any five inputs to one of any five outputs. Alternatively, it can direct a single input to any combination of ten outputs and vice versa. The array is fabricated using proprietary 3D-MEMS technology. Typical close and open switching times are eight milliseconds, depending on control voltage. The microarry provides a maximum switched voltage of 30 V, maximum switched current of 100 mA and total on-resistance of <400 mW. It also features high off-resistance or isolation of >10¹³W.
