Micronetics Wireless, Inc.

Source: Micronetics Wireless, Inc.
Wireless (NASDAQ/NOIZ) manufactures and designs innovative noise and multi-path fading test equipment and noise components that are used to determine the strength, durability and integrity of com-munication signals in com-munications and internet infra-structure equipment. Our com-pany pioneered the concept of noise technology for use in communication systems nearly 30 years ago. Micronetics also manufacturers microwave and radio frequency (RF) electromechanical switches, components and integrated sub-assemblies used in a variety of commercial wireless and military products. Micronetics products are used across a wide range of applications around the world, including cellular, PCS, satellite, ATE, HomePNA, Bluetooth, broadband, radar, military and electronic simulation.

FACILITIES
Micronetics has three manufacturing facilities, two in Hudson, NH and one in Danbury, CT., with an additional office in New York and manufacturer representatives throughout the U.S.A and abroad. The Hudson, NH facility offers a full range of RF testing and hybrid assembly services, as well as houses the corporate offices.

PRODUCT LINES
Test Equipment
Micronetics Wireless' precision test equipment provides evaluations of the two main sources of signal distortion in wireless communications systems; noise contam-ination and multi-path fading.

Specifically we manufacture manual and automated noise generators, carrier -to- noise generators and multi-path fading equipment.

Noise Sources
Micronetics Wireless offers a wide range of products from discrete noise components to miniature built-in test BITE™ modules to fully calibrated precision noise sub-assemblies and systems. Our noise sources offer repeat-ability even with variations in temperature and voltage; with precise ENR values you can depend on.

MicroCal is a patented, one-of-a-kind integrated circuit designed to facilitate self-monitoring in virtually all types of wireless equipment, including mobile handsets, subscriber units and base stations. This tiny component gives wireless service providers and equipment manufacturers the ability to get inside the RF portion of a wireless system and really see what's happening.

Electromechanical Switches
Micronetics Wireless offers a broad family of electromechanical switches that are highly reliable and provide consistent performance across a broad frequency range from DC to 18GHz. Typical characteristics include extremely low insertion loss and very high isolation.

Control Components
Micronetics Control Components Division designs and manufactures high performance control components, switches, attenuators, phase shifters, detectors and multifunction modules.

Voltage Control Oscillators
Micronetics VCO Division designs and manufactures a family of voltage controlled oscillator (VCOs) products which provide precise signal source within a given frequency range and generates sinusoidal signals in frequency bands. These components are available in both wide and narrow band frequencies, in miniature and subminiature sizes, and surface mount, tape or reel packaging.
