Model 340 Temperature Controller

Lake Shore's Model 340 Temperature Controller is a dual input, dual proportional-integral-derivative (PID) control loop temperature controller that supports diodes, negative temperature coefficient (NTC), and positive temperature coefficient (PTC) RTD sensors.
Features
  • Front panel configurable for Lake Shore manufactured or other sensors
  • Supports most diodes. Platinum RTDs and Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC) resistor sensors
  • Two soft configurable sensor inputs included
  • 100 watt heater output on the first control loop (1 watt on 2nd loop)
  • IEEE-488 and serial interfaces, analog, digital I/O and alarm relays
  • One-button control for all major functions
  • Bright LCD graphic display that is user configurable
Lake Shore's Model 340 Temperature Controller is a dual input, dual proportional-integral-derivative (PID) control loop temperature controller that supports diodes, negative temperature coefficient (NTC), and positive temperature coefficient (PTC) RTD sensors. Option cards allow the user to configure the Model 340 for use with one capacitance sensor, two thermocouples, or additional diode/RTD sensor inputs. With measurement resolution and control stability to as low as 0.1 mK and ±0.2 mK, respectively, at 4.2 K with appropriate system design and sensors, the Model 340 Temperature Controller offers high performance across the 0.3 to more than 1000 K temperature range and in difficult sensing conditions, including ionizing radiation and magnetic fields.
