MPI Corporation Installed Its WaferWallet® MAX For 200mm And 300mm WLR Processes

Hsinchu /PRNewswire/ - The Advanced Semiconductor Test Division of MPI Corporation, an industry leader and innovator in semiconductor test solutions, has initiated the test system integration automated probe TS3500-SE with WaferWallet ® MAX , a 200 mm and 300 mm handling solution with versatile cassette and self-priming FOUP, in a state-of-the-art WLR test process.

The WaferWallet ® MAX provides an automation solution by increasing total test time by more than 400% without compromising measurement accuracy and capability. It further increases testing efficiency and productivity by reducing soaking time (which is part of the total test time), while enabling hot/cold wafer swapping, unique wafer loading and unloading capability inserts while the chuck remains at any test temperature.

MPI is successfully collaborating with imec for the integration of its WaferWallet ® MAX solution into imec's Advanced Reliability Robustness and Test (AR²T) department, leveraging their 200 and 300 mm WLR qualification activities in support of their R&D Logic, Insite and Memory.
