Credence Systems high-volume tester is an extension of the ASL1000 family and offers analog mixed-signal test for the telecommunications, converter, power management, and industrial markets. The system, which is designed to support an advanced mixed-signal digital sub-system, also offers increased power capabilities, higher throughput, and additional instrument slots for advanced multi-site testing.

The tester is reverse-compatible with the ASL1000, which maximizes test floor flexibility and tester utilization. The system features a co-modular "non-matrix" architecture that helps to decrease test time, maximize repeatability and accuracy, and reduce the overall footprint of the system. Along with the new mixed-signal digital subsystem, with standard features such as micro code, scan, source and capture, an audio subsystem will be available to provide the lowest cost-of-test solution for the converter market.
