NetScout Systems and Wavetek Wandel Goltermann Sign Agreement

NetScout Systems, a developer of end-to-end application flow management for the enterprise network, today announced an OEM and reseller partnership with Wavetek Wandel Goltermann, a communications test and analysis systems manufacturer.

The multi-year OEM agreement extends the alliance that began three years ago. The agreement also allows NetScout Systems to resell Wavetek Wandel Goltermann's Examine and Mentor products on an OEM basis. Examine, Wavetek Wandel Goltermann's decode engine, decodes over 350 protocols. Mentor is used for expert analysis applications, pinpoints, prioritizes and proposes solutions to critical problems on token ring, Ethernet, Frame Relay, Novell and TCP/IP networks.

When used in conjunction with NetScout Systems' monitoring products, these tools enable customers to capture, decode, and analyze data packets as part of their end-to-end network performance monitoring and management functions.
