New Convenient Teslameters For Fast, Accurate Field Measurements

These new F71/F41 teslameters with FP Series Hall probes from Lake Shore Cryotronics offer a new level of precision and convenience for a wide variety of magnetic field measurement applications. The instruments feature Lake Shore’s TruZero technology, enabling fast, accurate field measurement without users ever having to worry about typical offset errors and drift effects. Start taking measurements immediately, and keep on measuring with confidence hour after hour, as there is no need to ever re-zero the probes.

Measurement precision is, in part, accomplished by the proprietary 2Dex™ Hall sensors in the probes. These innovative sensors have significantly smaller active areas and more linear performance than previous generations of Hall sensors. This results in improved spatial resolution and reduced signal averaging, which is particularly useful when measuring fields close to a source where field gradients can be extremely high.

Temperature and field compensation is provided by the teslameters to produce highly accurate field readings over a range of operating conditions.

The teslameters are available in single-axis (F41) and multi-axis (F71) versions, both of which are easy to operate. An uncluttered touchscreen uses modern icons, gestures, and navigation techniques – instantly familiar to any smartphone user – and the large capacitive display with easily distinguishable fonts makes it readable even when some distance from the instrument. The unique TiltView screen enables comfortable viewing and operation, whether the instrument is on a bench or mounted at the bottom of a rack.
